Ted Drury played his college hockey for the Harvard Crimson from 1989 to 1993. As a center, he was a dominant force on both ends of the ice. In his senior season (1992-93), he had a standout year, scoring 27 goals and adding 30 assists for 57 points in 32 games, earning him a spot as a top 10 finalist for the Hobey Baker Award. That same year, he was a finalist for the ECAC Player of the Year and earned First-Team All-ECAC honors. He finished his collegiate career with 110 points in 97 games.
After his impressive college career, Drury went on to play 11 seasons in the NHL with six different teams, including the Calgary Flames, Hartford Whalers, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim, New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, and Columbus Blue Jackets. He was a gritty, two-way forward known for his defensive prowess and penalty-killing abilities. He also played for the United States National Team, representing his country at the 1992 Winter Olympics and the 1994 Winter Olympics, where he won a silver medal. Drury retired from professional hockey in 2003.
