As the Huskies equaled their best league finish ever in the WCHA (2 nd place), a major reason was because of the stellar goaltending of Goepfert (gef-ert). A First Team WCHA member for the second straight year, Goepfert posted the league’s best save percentage and second-best goals against average. His 2.08 GAA is a team record.

- Was a two-year starter at Providence before transferring, and sitting one year
- Pittsburgh draft – was a second-team All American last year
