One of the premiere goalies in college hockey, Augustine has backstopped the Spartans to three straight Big Ten regular season titles and two playoff titles. For two straight seasons, he has been named the conference Goalie of the Year and First Team all-conference, while getting a nod as a semi-finalist for the Mike Richter Award (top goalie) three straight years, and finally winning it this past season. Additionally, Augustine was named a First Team All American for the second consecutive season. Positionally sound and very athletic, Augustine is great at game management. He recently signed a pro contract with the Detroit Red Wings.
- Final record was 24-9-1, goals against average 2.11, saves percentage .929, had 3 shutouts – was 6th in the nation in saves percentage
- Three-time member of USA World Junior team – Detroit draft (2nd round, 2023)
