The captain of the Black Bears has inspired his teammates to a Frozen Four berth by scoring goals and taking care of business defensively.  Currently tied for fourth in the nation in goal scoring (28), Moore was also the runner-up as the Best Defensive Forward award in Hockey East.  The First Team All Star led Maine in scoring and goals (28-16 for 44 points in 41 games), while finishing second in conference play in goals.  Drafted by Calgary and since traded to the N.Y. Rangers, the All Academic student is on the Dean’s List, sporting a 3.13 GPA while majoring in Kinesiology and Physical Education.  In addition to his Hobey Baker candidacy, Greg is a nominee for both the Hockey Humanitarian Award and was a finalist for the Walter Brown Award.
