Miami won the CCHA regular season title with great defense.  Led by their captain Andy Greene, he became the first player in league history to win both the Defensive Defenseman Award and Offensive Defenseman Award as he piled on 31 points in 39 games (9-22).  He became a three-time First Team All Star in the league and never missed a game in his four-year career.  An Education major, Greene’s Redhawks finished with the second-best goals against in the nation.
