Eric Healey was a highly productive forward for RPI from 1994 to 1998. He led his team in scoring for his final two seasons and earned multiple accolades, including being named a Second-Team All-American. In his senior year, Healey was a Hobey Baker Award finalist, recognizing him as one of the top ten college hockey players in the nation. He finished his four-year career at RPI with 82 goals and 86 assists for a total of 168 points.
After college, Healey signed with the Calgary Flames but spent the majority of his career in the AHL and European leagues. While he only played two games in the NHL with the Boston Bruins during the 2005-06 season, he had a very successful career in the minors. Healey won the Fred T. Hunt Memorial Award for sportsmanship in the AHL during the 2002-03 season and led the league in goals with 42 that same year, earning the Willie Marshall Award. He retired from professional hockey in 2011.
