Marc Cavosie played college hockey at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1999 to 2003. As a junior in the 2001-02 season, he was a key offensive force for the Engineers, leading the team with 58 points from 23 goals and 35 assists. His exceptional performance earned him a top-ten nomination for the Hobey Baker Award. That same year, he was named a Second-Team All-American. He finished his collegiate career with 166 points, ranking him among RPI’s all-time leading scorers.

After his collegiate career, Cavosie played professionally for five seasons, primarily in the AHL and ECHL. Drafted by the Minnesota Wild in 2000, he played for their AHL affiliate, the Houston Aeros, as well as the ECHL’s Louisiana IceGators and Augusta Lynx. He had a brief stint in Europe, playing for the Italian team Sportivi Ghiaccio Pontebba in 2007, before retiring in 2008.
