That’s because he’s a prolific shooter, leading the nation with 166 shots (average 4.4 per game), 12 more than the next closest skater. With the NCHC championship game looming this weekend, Pohlkamp has been recognized as First Team all-conference, the NCHC Offensive Defenseman of the Year and is a finalist for the NCHC Player of the Year.
