It’s definitely a family affair – for the first time in Hobey history (29 years), back-to-back brothers are Hobey finalists. Jacques’ brother Jean-Philippe was a Hobey top 10 finalist last season as a goalie for North Dakota. Jacques is having a magical season with a nation leading 31 goals and a point total of 51, good for second in the nation after leading for most of the season. Was named Atlantic Hockey’s Player of the Year, a First Team all-star and won the scoring title.

- Dad Jean-Pierre played for the Sioux – has five siblings all playing college or pro hockey
- His twin sisters (Monique and Jocelyne) play for Minnesota in Women’s Frozen Four – brother Mario is at North Dakota and brother Pierre-Paul plays at Univ. of Manitoba
- Security officer in his squadron – completed Combat Survival Training
