Chris Drury was a star player for Boston University from 1994 to 1998, where he had a highly decorated collegiate career. He was a Hobey Baker Award finalist in both his junior (1996-97) and senior (1997-98) seasons, ultimately winning the award in 1998 as the nation’s best college hockey player. During his time at BU, he led the team to a national championship in 1995 and is the school’s all-time leading goal scorer with 113. He’s also the only player in BU history to have over 100 goals and 100 assists.

After college, Drury was drafted by the Quebec Nordiques in 1994 and went on to have a successful 12-season NHL career. He played for the Colorado Avalanche, Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, and New York Rangers. In his rookie season, he won the Calder Memorial Trophy as the league’s top rookie, becoming the only player to ever win both the Hobey Baker Award and the Calder Trophy. He also won a Stanley Cup with the Avalanche in 2001 and two Olympic silver medals with Team USA. He finished his career with 615 points in 892 NHL games.
