2018 HOBEY BAKER AWARD PRESENTATION

This year’s Hobey Baker Award winner will be announced Friday, April 6, 2018 from St. Paul, MN at the Roy Wilkins, during the NCAA Frozen Four. The 38th annual announcement is now ready to be streamed live here!

TOM REID’S HOCKEY CITY PUB

The Hobey Baker Memorial Award Trophy will be on display at the Tom Reid’s Hockey City Pub  located two blocks from the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul. Owned by a former NHL defenseman, it’s a popular spot for lunch, dinner and after-the-game.

2018 HOCKEY HUMANITARIAN AWARD

Senior goaltender Sidney Peters (Geneva, Ill.) of the University of Minnesota Women’s Hockey team was named the 2018 Hockey Humanitarian Award recipient, which was announced on Friday afternoon at Roy Wilkins Auditorium as part of the Men’s Frozen Four weekend. Peters is the 23rd honoree in the award’s history, which dates

Thomas Allan Reid (born June 24, 1946 in Fort Erie, Ontario) is a retired professional ice hockey player who played 701 regular season games in the National Hockey League. He played for the Chicago Black Hawks and Minnesota North Stars over an 11-year career.
