Weston is a terrific student and he carries a 3.25 cumulative GPA and scored highly on his SAT and ACT. At school Weston is very involved and is a respected leader amongst his peers. He has been elected to student government the last 3 years, finishing this year being elected President of all Student Activities. He is also a peer mentor, a student ambassador, a member of the student marketing group, a founding member of a key political club, a member of state tournament debate team, and a two-time soloist in the Student Chorale. Weston is also active in his community. Last spring he forego an opportunity to play on a hockey all-star team to build roofs on houses in Mexico for impoverished families through his church. He also is active at Feed My Starving Children and Meals on Wheels. Weston also finds time to be a 3 sport athlete at SPA. He is a 4 time letter winner in Hockey and Baseball (two-time all conference, all section, and gold glove selection in baseball) and as a senior he lettered and was one of the team leaders and all conference honorable mention on the Section runner-up and District champion football team. Weston has been a pleasure to coach and is someone that will continue to make a tremendous impact on all those he comes into contact with. He is very deserving of this award.
