I have had the pleasure of coaching Tyler Skertich over three of seasons and he is an excellent role model on/off the ice, and will no doubt be a great ambassador to the sport as he grows into an adult.
The dedication I observed Tyler bring forth, whether on or off the ice is an extremely positive addition to our team. The combination of unwavering determination, incredible self-discipline and great teamwork has enhanced all the players, coaches and parents Tyler has been in contact with.
Tyler’s ability to keep his composure under pressure and clear concise communication with his teammates, youth players and coaches, while executing his tasks are key reasons why I would highly recommend Tyler without any reservation.
When we selected captains at the beginning of the season his peers were required to add a note as to why they thought a player should be selected. Here are some of the quotes from the boys.
