Tessa was selected because of her willingness to go above and beyond what is expected. Tessa has been a 5 year letter winner for the Thief River Falls Prowler hockey team.
She was selected as a captain her Junior and Senior year. During Tessa’s time as a leader for the Prowlers she has set the standard of what it means to be a good teammate. She takes charge in the off-season encouraging her teammates to attend and pushes them to do their best during summer off-season workouts. I know that I can count on Tessa because she honors commitments. She continues to show her character on a daily basis not only with team on and off the ice but within the community as well.
Tessa does not only have a strong work ethic on and off the ice but also gets results when it counts. She continues to improve her game and the game of others around her on a daily basis. She is always putting in extra time at the rink weather she is skating with the little guys, doing a little extra work for herself or cleaning the locker room. Tessa treats everyone on the team as they were her family.
As a player she has magnificent self control, poise, and respect for the game, herself and her team. Very proud to say I am her Coach.
