Steve was a two-year varsity goaltender for Wachusett after transferring from St. Peter Marian. He is an absolute team-first type of player. He always supported and encouraged our other goalies to compete for the starting job and he’d actually tell me when one of them deserved to start over him. Steve thrived off of competition and it helped him elevate his game. As a captain, Steve exemplified excellent leadership qualities. He was a role-model student-athlete excelling in both the classroom and on the ice.
