Rose came to High School a figure skater and left as a Hockey player. Her play on defense and her leadership ability have grown over her 4 years as a hockey player. Her determination, perseverance and spirit earned her the respect of her team when she was voted Captain her junior and senior years. Rose lost a close friend early in HS. She has worked diligently since, in her friends honor organizing a hockey tournament to raise money for her memorial scholarship fund. Rose exemplifies the character of the Hobey Baker award.
