As team captain of the Centerville Elks this season he helped the team overcome a great deal of adversity. He lead the team in points but his impact went far beyond that. Riley is an exemplary teammate and person. He demonstrated incredible work ethic and impressive time management through his ability to successfully maintain a balance and high performance in both athletics and academics. Riley is consistently one of the hardest working players on the team both on the ice and in the weight room, always leading by example. He is a true competitor and makes the people around him better. Riley’s passion, positive attitude, work ethic, and intelligence make him well respected among his peers. He speaks with honesty and charisma garnering the attention of all around him. During the start of the off-season, while the head coach position was still vacant, Riley stepped up to organize and lead team workouts and conditioning. His passion for the game and the supporting the people he leads is profound.
