I have had the pleasure of knowing and coaching Regan Feit for the past four years as a student-athlete. Regan is a very gifted person who has done an outstanding job in the classroom and on the ice. She has always been committed to being the best and raising the bar high for herself and others.
Regan has strong values that guide her sensational decision-making. She views the world in a very responsible manner. As a result, she is respected in the school and in the athletic community. Regan is always willing to help others, able to motivate people to reach their potential and is always willing to put in the extra work and effort.
Regan is very reliable and always can be counted on. Regan truly excels in the classroom earning one of the highest GPA’s on our team the last two consecutive years. As a coach and teacher, if I need to have something organized and want an excellent job done, I ask Regan. Her accomplishments in the classroom are truly impressive considering she excels as a 3-sport athlete.
Regan has been a tremendous teammate as well. When our team met and voted for captains, she received a vote from nearly every one of her teammates. This shows the level of respect that she has earned from her teammates as well as her coaches. Regan has set an excellent example for our younger players of what can be achieved through hard work and dedication both on the ice and in the classroom. Regan is always looked at as the “Hardest Workerâ€_x009d_ by her hockey peers, and extremely coachable by her coaches.
Regan has outstanding qualities that are very evident on a daily basis. I believe she will succeed at whatever she sets her mind to. Therefore, I think Regan Feit is an excellent candidate for the Hobey Baker Character Award.

Assistant Coach Wenninger writes: I appreciate that she never complains and always battles through injuries, or tough days. She always wants to win and always wants to get better- she is my steady eddy on defense. We also know she is a battler in her other activities. She just presents herself well and has good composure. Feit has good communications on the bench and also to me with what things are working well and what needs to change or even what the defense should specifically work on game to game.
