Some people lead with inspiring speeches, others lead with inspiring actions. Nick was dependable at practices and games, always with a very positive attitude. He listens to suggestions for improvement, asks questions and works hard to incorporate everything into his game. When the team is in trouble he steps up his game and never quits until the final buzzer sounds. He is not the biggest guy on the ice, but he has no problem physically going up against guys twice his size when needed. Nick is the definition of grit when he is playing hockey. He is smart and plays strategically; A good play maker, digs hard in the corners and is in the right place at the right time, always playing selflessly for the betterment of the team. Off the ice he is respectful of those around him and is just a really nice guy. He accomplishes all this with a calm, easy going demeanor.
