Nic was part of the inaugural team and first graduating player to play all 4 years of Varsity hockey. Not only has he been our top player the past two years scoring 30 goals in back to back season, he has been the leader. He is a 4.0 student, role model to the underclass kids and a gentleman to the teachers. Nic has been influential in the quick growth of getting our program on the map. He committed to going to Richfield with blind faith of not knowing if they’d have a hockey team. Nic recruited classmates to play hockey so they’d have enough players to make up a team. His dedication, hard work and commitment to academics, athletics and character are unparalleled. He has been a three sport letter winner (football, hockey and baseball) throughout his high school career. Nic will be greatly missed next year. It is an honor to nominate him for our team as the Hobey Baker Character Award winner for 2020.
