Nate has been an outstanding player at our program over his four years. Asides from the skills he possesses, and his elite ability to put up points, Nate’s character made him the obvious nomination from our team for this award. It’s no secret that for the past three seasons, he has been our best player. Many teenagers might let this go to their heads, influencing the way they play the game and becoming more of an individual player rather than a team player. Nate is just the opposite. He has always lead by example and is someone I hope that the entire team, especially the younger players, looks up to as an example of how to carry themselves through life as well as how far hard work can take you. He is one of those players that will be sorely missed after he graduates and will be extremely tough to try and replace all of the facets of the game that he touches.
