Wando Hockey nominates our captain, Nate Dancer, as Mr. Hockey for the 2020-2021 season. Nate is a four year player for Wando, and was named our Rookie of the Year in his first season. Nate has been playing hockey since he was 9 years old. As captain, Nate is motivating to all of our players, whether they’re new or long time skaters. He has taken various leadership roles on teams throughout the years, and does whatever the coach (or team manager) asks of him. He has also served as a Junior Coach for several Jr. Stingrays teams, helped with Little Rays goalie clinics, and is currently working with the 16U Colonials team with Coach Havrilack to improve his coaching skills. Nate is also in his second year of volunteering in equipment management for the ECHL South Carolina Stingrays. Nate is a valuable member of our Wando Hockey family, and we thank you for your consideration.
