Michael is an outstanding human who exemplifies excellent character, commitment, hard work and most importantly, being an unbelievable teammate. Michael has played on our fourth line as a Senior all year. He comes to the rink with a great attitude, willingness to get better and love of the game. Michael has not said anything negative all year and continues to pick guys up and be a great leader to them. Michael doesn’t see the ice a lot but he continues to thrive in his role and motivate his teammates no matter what. When called upon, he is always ready even if he has not played or been called for a while. Michael is the most coachable student-athlete in our program and he is extremely deserving of this award.
