Maya is the most down to earth individual that we have been honored to coach. Maya represents the Hobey Baker qualities in all that she does. Maya’s hockey journey started a little later than most, which has made her story and her character even more admirable. She is someone who understands the big picture and what it is all about; relationships and life lessons. Maya lives life with great character that is non-judgemental, very humble, and leads by example. She is the type of teammate that everyone wants on their team because they are going to succeed. Not the success on the ice, but the success in the programs culture, the programs players, and the programs foundational roots. She is the type of individual who is always wanting to be better in school, sports, spiritually, and in her relationships. Maya is without a doubt, an individual who you want to have along side you during your life journey.
