During the summer of 2020 Matt was diagnosed with cancer. Needless to say, his life changed in the blink of an eye. Matt has quietly and courageously taken on this battle. Throughout his treatments and surgeries, his sense of humor and huge smile have grown and are bigger and brighter than ever. Although Matt was not able to play during his senior, he is our Hobey Character Awardee.
He has battled through more adversity in his young life than most people face in their lifetime. Character. Excellence. Persistence. Competitive Spirit. A leader by example.
