Matt has consistently been a great teammate since his first day as a Scarlet his sophomore year. A multi sport athlete, Matt has always excelled as a team first guy, and no matter the circumstances, has always been a positive influence on our locker room.

In addition, he’s a model student in the classroom, and his peers feed off of his positive energy.

Matt embodies what it means to be a Scarlet, giving back in various areas at school, at the rink with our youth hockey players, and reenforcing the family culture of our program. Watching how our guys rally around Matt truly captures the Hobey Baker spirit, and he’s well deserved of this award.
