Throughout his years at CHS, Matt has grown as a player, student and person in his school and
community. Now as a senior, Matt is a role-model and mentor to younger students. As his coach
I appreciate his willingness to show other younger players what it means to hold up the values
of the Century Hockey program.
The personal skills and traits Matt exhibits when interacting with peers and teachers is
commendable and most importantly consistent. Matt is genuinely himself regardless of the
situation or people around him.
As a student, and leader at Century, Matt has worked with his school and community
volunteering to help those in need and balancing his efforts in the classroom and community at
the same time. His best qualities are his friendly and competitive nature as well as being a
responsible and independent young adult. I’m honored to be a part of this young man’s life and
journey.
Matt has been a valuable, integral part of Century High School and the Century Hockey
program; when he graduates he will be greatly missed.
