This year’s recipient, chosen by me , is a very special student athlete. She has excelled in the classroom with a 3.998 GPA, and a 5 year letter winner on this hockey team. Madyson may be a quiet leader, but can always be counted on to work harder than anyone else and to do the things asked of her to get things done. She is willing to do anything asked of her. She is an exceptional and caring person of the highest character. Those are some of the reasons this year recipient of the Hobey Baker award is Madyson Melgard.
