Maddie has been one of the classiest and respectful players I have coached in my 20 years of coaching. She truly embodies the spirt of Hobey Baker by caring more about her team and teammates than individual accomplishments. She started on our team as a 9th grader trying to earn a spot in each game, growing as a solid 3rd line center in her sophomore year, adding offensive contributions as a junior, and now relishes her role as a senior mentor to our younger players. I lean on Maddie to be the mature person in the locker room and show others how to act. She also has several leadership positions at our school which shows the tremendous amount of respect her classmates and faculty also have for her.
