Maddi leads by example on and off the ice. She was elected Captain by her peers and she takes this role very seriously. She is one of the most assertive captains that we have ever had. She is a real go getter. She is known as the team mom to all the players. If they need anything they always turn to her. Maddi fully accepts her role on our team and is willing to do whatever is asked of her. Her ability to persevere is amazing. She has been battling an injury all season long, but she will stop at nothing to battle through it. She is an excellent example of a leader who leads with respect and integrity, who is fully committed to making a positive influence in the lives of others.
