Lyndsey is one of the hardest working players I have ever coached. She brings a level of intensity and competitiveness that is contagious. She pushes her teammates to become better every day due to her work ethic and her dedication to improving her own skills. She is a fearless leader both on the ice and in the locker room. She leaves everything she has on the ice for her team. She is also an incredible young lady away from hockey. She lights up a room with her smile. She is amazing with young kids. I have watched her interact, take interest, and care about my own three kiddos. She has a great sense of humor and is enjoyable to talk with. She represents everything this award stands for.
