Liam Hogan
2021 | Rhode Island | BOYS
CANADIAN HOCKEY CLUB | MAPLE LEAFS | BOYS
Liam Hogan started in our program as a freshman. A rather well skilled player with an obsession for hockey. Liam had raw skills but needed to be molded into a complete hockey player over the next few years.
He started on our lowest level team and year after year improved exponentially. In his Junior year in High School several Junior teams were seeking to recruit him. He came back to his High School though and helped them secure a Rhode Island State Championship beating a team that they had met 3 years in a row but continued to lose in the finals until his senior year.
Liam continued his quest in our program, to develop to be that player that every team would love to have in its lineup. As time progressed Liam started to develop some great leadership skills. He didn’t blurb directives to the younger players but embraced them to do the work with him. He elevated each player that played on his line or the team. The other players looked up to Liam as a mentor, a good friend and an incredible team captain.
Liam’s parents have been very instrumental in developing his excellent character and with our coaching staff, we brought that out in him to the rest of the team.
Liam exemplifies this prestigious award to the highest degree and we are honored to award it to him.
