Lauren has gone through a lot during her high school hockey career. As a freshman, she was told that she could practice with the team, but would not play in any of the games. She did not let that deter her love of hockey. The next year there was a brand new coaching staff and a new opportunity for her to showcase her abilities. She continued to work hard to improve her on the ice skills, but her character and determination on and off the ice are what make her unique. This season Lauren was voted to be a team captain by her peers. She comes to the rink every day and gives her best effort. She stands out as a leader for our JV team and is a consistent support for the varsity team. Her attitude and enthusiasm make coming to the rink each day a joy for the coaches and team.
