Kayley is one of the hardest working players I have coached during my high school hockey coaching career. She carries a level of intensity and competitiveness with her to the rink on a daily basis that is contagious. She challenges her teammates to become better each day through her hustle and high compete level. Kayley leaves everything she has on the ice for her team. She is one of the fastest forwards in the state and uses her speed to create offense for our team. She is extremely disciplined in her positional play in all zones. Our team heavily relies on her skills during Penalty Kill situations. Her edgework allows her to stop on a dime and to quickly change directions, which helps her to effectively execute her role while killing penalties. She is also an incredible young lady away from hockey. Kayley carries a 4.351 GPA, she will graduate Summa Cum Laude, is an AP Scholar with Distinction, and earned the All State hockey Academic Award. Kayley is also involved in Student Government and a member of First Mates at Minnetonka High School that is a liaison program that pairs Seniors to help mentor incoming Freshmen students. She has a great sense of humor and is enjoyable to talk with.
