Jake Kotzian is very passionate about the game of hockey. He demonstrates great leadership both on and off the ice and holds his teammates to a high standard. Jake not only excels in the game of hockey, but also in the classroom. He is part of our National Honor Society at Elk River High School and has a 4.1 Cumulative GPA. Jake is always quick to volunteer and serve when opportunities arise in our school and community. He is a great role model to our youth players. Jake’s hard work, determination, and leadership are contagious to his teammates. Jake always demonstrates what the Hobey Baker Award exemplifies and is very deserving of this prestigious award.
