Jacob has so many attributes that make him worthy of this award. He works hard in practice and in games, excelling and setting an example for other players. His optimism and positivity also are noteworthy. He can play forward or defense and is equally capable at both. On that point, if there is a need he is happy to move back to the blue line and help the team. His enjoyment of the game and the rink environment are uplifting and rub off on his teammates. Mason makes his teammates better and leads by example.
