Jacob Browder picked up the nickname “Killerâ€_x009d_ at the near beginning of his hockey career, not because he was a rough and rowdy kid, but more of a kidding joke because he was quite the opposite!! He always carries a smile, even when others do not. He has one of the funniest sense of humors and always has a friend to talk to. Any opportunity to get on the ice, Killer would be there. Those opportunities include extra ice sessions for training, filling in for other players, and even development for the younger kids. Jacob is always ready to fill any need on his team from forward or defense to of course goalie. He has even been known to peer coach new defensemen from the net to help them know where they need to be. Within the past few years, he has been referenced to as The Dancing Goalie” because of his light-hearted fun moves while in-between playtime in the games. Something the spectators always looked forward to!! Jacob has been the Team Captain for Stratford for the past 2 years and is an amazing leader and role model. No matter the need, he does it with a smile and his positive outlook and contribution to the youth hockey community will be missed greatly after he graduates!”
