I have gotten to know Jack as a person and athlete over the past three years, as his hockey coach and teacher at the Scituate High School. During this time I came to respect his amazing commitment to hard work as well as his unique ability to always put team goals ahead of his own personal accomplishments. He stood out from other student-athletes immediately as someone who had the exceptional ability to be devoted to athletics, academics, teammates and the community. Jack is a young man of the highest character and integrity and I have no doubt that he will thrive in the future.

Jack is a leader and Sportsmen in every sense of the word. When he speaks, his peers listen. He is one who is consistently aspiring to do what is right and has the unique ability to show compassion for others while also helping to encourage and motivate them. His compassion and natural ability to lead others is always on full display on our hockey team as he was named team captain heading into his senior season. He is quick to lead by example with his work ethic and enthusiasm on the ice, but also could always be counted on to provide an encouraging word to a young teammate. Jack shows the highest level of sportsmanship with his competitors and is respected by all.
