Jack is our senior captain who has been out most of his senior season due to an injury. However, at no point has Jack let his injury effect his ability to lead our team. Even when Jack has not been able to dress, he still finds a way to get the team ready and focused for the upcoming game. Jack recently returned from injury and his presence on the ice, bench and locker room has only made our team better. Jack leads by example and is an outstanding two way defenseman. Off the ice, Jack is also a leader at school and excels in the classroom. He was recently chosen to our league all academic team. Jack was also a football captain and the type of kid that makes a coach’s job a lot easier by his ability to lead the team. I would take 20 Jack Borrows if I could and his leadership will truly be missed next season.
