Hans is one of our captains and when it comes to character he is the gold standard. Hans is a leader on the ice, off the ice and in the classroom. He loves to be involved in the community by donating his time to youth hockey camps and when he is on the ice with young hockey players his true character comes out. The kid love him and he really contact with them and increases their love for the sport of hockey. In the class room Hans is respectful to the student body, his teachers and the staff on the school. He has fantastic grades on top of being a great student athlete. On the ice Hans was moved from forward to defense this year and never complained just took the opportunity as a challenge, and had turned into our most consistent defenseman on our hockey team. This was an easy decision for me with the way Hans holds himself athletically, academically and socially. Thank you for your consideration of Hans Lovig.
