Hailey was chosen as our 2019 Hobey Baker Award winner because of her extraordinary character on and off the ice. Hailey is a great hockey player, but that hasn’t come without years of hard work and sacrifice. While striving to be the best on the ice, she has also been a leader for our team in hockey and in the classroom. Her character and sportsmanship towards her teammates and other opponents is an example for all. She is a role model for younger athletes in our association and has many girls that look up to her.
