Having a strong captain in the inaugural season of Newburyport Girls Hockey is vital to the success of the program. Erin leads by example in everything she does whether on or off the ice. Her hard work sets the tone in practice, she is vocal on the bench in games and Erin treats the opposition with the utmost respect. Newburyport High School could not have asked for a stronger leadership group or a better captain than Erin Irons. The selflessness of Erin and her other captains have paved the way for continued success for generations to come.
