Emily exemplifies all the characteristics of the Hobey Baker criteria both on and off the ice. As the only female to play with the team for all four consecutive years, she never shied away from the challenge of playing on the boy’s varsity team. She knew how to take a hit and always held her own in a battle on the ice. Due to her innate leadership, she was an assistant captain senior year and helped motivate and guide the team during a challenging season in the middle of a pandemic. Emily is also a leader off the ice placing in the top 10 in her class, a member of five national honors societies, and earning the seal of biliteracy in Spanish.
