It is my privilege to nominate Ella Hanley for the Hobey Baker award. Ella is one the hardest working student athletes that I have worked with. She leads by example. Ella always has a great attitude on an off the ice. She is always willing to go the extra step for anyone on the team. The same work ethic that has made her such a good hockey player and teammate has made her a strong student. Ella is polite, and humble. In her free time she is a referee for youth hockey in RI and is a positive role model for all.
