Ella is a true leader and works very hard at being the type of leader other will respect. Ella was chosen team captain by her teammates and understands her role. She takes the time to make sure the younger players moving up have a voice and are comfortable with their new surroundings yet still takes the time to support the older players not only through their successes but is also there if they are going through a challenging time.

Ella keeps busy by wearing several different hats not only with hockey but also with many of the other ventures in her life such as Captain of the tennis team, member of the band, math team, national honor society just to name a few.

Ella’s fine character traits don’t just stop there, many days you will see her in the stands at the youth games supporting the younger players as they play and I can certainly tell you what a big deal it is to the young players to have the captain of the High School team in the stands cheering them on, they don’t forget that.

In short Ella is a person who always seems to have everyone else’s best interests in mind even before her own. She is dicatited, loyal ambitious, thoughtful and a true positive leader as she always has a positive word to say to those around her, no matter whose team they are on.
