It is my great pleasure to nominate Dominic
Terzi a senior from Minnechaug Regional High School in Wilbraham, MA. During Dominic’s four years at Minnechaug be has been able to maintain a 3.5 gpa in the classroom and he is planning on attending college next year. He is also active in our community helping with a local youth hockey team and their learn to skate program also the Springfield Police Department learn to skate program. Dominic and his team also travel to The Holyoke Soldiers Home to interact with the veterans there and provide them with items they could use to make things easier. They could not go this year because of covid 19 but they wanted to go.

Dominic has been a 4 year varsity player, serving as captain this season. Dominic is a quiet leader who leads by example on and off the ice and in the classroom. Dominic plays on the top line also on the PP and PK units. He just surpassed the 100 point level for his high school career. He works extremely hard during practice and in the games. He interacts well with his teammates to help them become a better unit and he is always quick to share praise with his teammates. He is always respectful to his teammates, coaches, opponents and officials. He represents himself, his family and our school with class, win or lose.
I believe Dominic Terzi embodies the spirit of Hobey Baker and he would be a worthy recipient if this award. Dominic has surpassed the 100 point career mark and currently sits at 108 career points.
