When it comes to sportsmanship, coachability, integrity and a positive attitude Declan Scott has it all. Declan is a highly skilled player who has an outstanding work ethic on and off the ice. Declan is always willing to assist the weaker players on the ice and assist them with drills and in games to get better. Declan always looks to pass and gets more pleasure from assisting a goal than scoring one. This is a rare statement for High School players. Declan is a pleasure to coach and while he is not a vocal leader he leads be example by his play and never quit attitude. Declan is well respected by this teammates and opponents a like. Declan would win the Lady Byng if played in the NHL. I would like to thank Declan for all his hard work and he has been a pleasure to coach. I wish him the best in his future endeavors and sure he will be tremendously successful at whatever he does.
