Connor joined our team after his school was unable to field a team last season, at the last moment. We welcomed Connor and a few of his classmates, to our team, with open arms, and he proved to be a wonderful teammate, and a great young man.

Connor is the ideal student athlete. He played both defense, and forward, depending on the team’s needs, and he did so with a great attitude and with skill. Connor was selected to the Freshman/Sophomore league All Star Team (2017-18) and the Junior Senior league All Star Team (2019-20). He was also selected to the FPSHL Leadership Academy.

Connor is a gifted student, who carries a 4.43 GPA, and is a Distinguished Scholar Award recipient at St. Andrews School, having been on the Headmasters List all semesters, and is in the Cum Laude Society. He is a National Merit Commended Scholar, and AP Commended Scholar. He was Student Council President of his Freshman Class, a co-President of Mu Alpha Theta Math Club, and plays French Horn in the Concert Band. He is a member of the National Economics for Leaders Program.

It has been an honor and a privilege to coach Connor, and to have this great young man, son of James and Laura, be a member of our team. We are very fortunate to be able to give this year’s Hobey Baker award to Connor O’Reilly.
