Colby is as complete a hockey player as this school has ever seen. His knowledge of the game, combined with his athletic ability make him a standout defenceman not only for our team, but for our league and the entire state. More importantly, Colby has grown as a person and as Captain of our team. He has played on very high caliber teams over his high school career at Kent Island. Colby is also an excellent student and member of the National Honor Society. This year, Colby has shown a humility and strength of character that has made us all very proud of him. The team is in a down season compared to his first three years, but Colby has handled the adversity with grace and class. Never complaining. Always giving every thing he has for the team. He has been a mentor to the younger players that are coming into the program. Colby has been a solid foundation for this team, and we are all very proud of his accomplishments. We are proud to have him as our Captain and this award is much deserved.
