Chris lost his father Rick 2 years ago. At the time Chris was a sophomore and was days away from playing in his first high school hockey game. Rick was a pillar of the community and a big supporter of hockey in Traverse City. The past two years have been hard for Chris and his family, but Chris has not let this hold him back. Chris was a co-captain as a junior and is our captain again this year as a senior. Chris is a true leader both on and off the ice and his father would be very proud of what he has accomplished so far.
